Ben Folds — Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter, composer, New York Times bestselling author, arts advocate and honorary Australian — returns to Adelaide for two special nights with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
One of the most influential artists of his generation, Folds has spent a career blurring the line between pop and orchestral music — from the piano-rock anthems of Ben Folds Five to his acclaimed piano concerto and his years as Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.
Expect the songs you know — Brick, The Luckiest, Rockin' the Suburbs, Landed, Army — reimagined with the full sweep of a symphony orchestra, alongside Folds' trademark wit, improvised orchestral numbers and a few surprises.
