Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez graced Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide on Wednesday 3 December 2025 — a rare Australian recital appearance from one of the finest bel canto voices of his generation.
Audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide were treated to a once-in-a-generation vocal experience on Wednesday 3 December 2025, when Peruvian operatic tenor Juan Diego Flórez performed a solo recital.
Flórez is widely regarded as one of the great bel canto tenors of the 21st century — a principal artist at La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden and the Vienna State Opera, and the first singer since Caruso to be called back for an encore during a Teatro alla Scala opening night.
