The Primary Schools Music Festival — thousands of SA public primary students in massed choir and band, a treasured state tradition. Four nights at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Sep 15–18, 2026.
The Primary Schools Music Festival is a treasured South Australian tradition, presented by the Public Primary Schools Music Society in partnership with the Department for Education.
Through music and the arts, the Festival brings students from across the state together to strive for excellence — a massed choir of thousands of voices, supported by student instrumentalists, soloists, dancers and the Festival orchestra, filling the Entertainment Centre arena for four unforgettable nights.
Each concert features a different group of schools, so every night is unique. Families, friends and school communities come together to celebrate the achievements of the children on stage — many of whom will remember it as the biggest performance of their lives.
