Trophy Boys — Emmanuelle Mattana's blistering award-winning Australian play — ran at the Space Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre across 17 March to 2 April 2026.
Four boys at an elite Sydney private school have ninety minutes to prepare for the inter-school debating final. Their topic, drawn moments before curtain: "That feminism has failed women." What unfolds is a sharp, comedy-laced, increasingly unsettling exploration of privilege, performance, gender and the small ways the boys' world starts to collapse on stage. With its all-female and non-binary cast playing the boys, the production became one of the most-talked-about Australian plays of the past two years.
