Sixteen dazzling teen talents take the Banquet Room stage for Class of Cabaret 2026 — two matinee showcases mentored by Mark Oates and Millicent Sarre as part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

A fave on the festival lineup and now in its 17th year, Class of Cabaret proves that magic happens when you challenge the most dazzling teen talents to create their show from scratch over the course of one school semester. Sure beats algebra.
Under the mentorship of cabaret royalty Mark Oates and Millicent Sarre, 16 students show us what they've got, and boy, have they got it. Pick your jaw up off the floor and give them the hand they deserve.
