Fontaines D.C.
About This Event
Dublin's Fontaines D.C. play their biggest Australian headline show yet at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena, touring new album Dopamine Chamber with fellow Dubliners Gurriers in support.
Few bands have changed shape as boldly as Fontaines D.C. The Dublin five-piece — Grian Chatten, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll — arrived with the wiry post-punk of Dogrel (2019), went darker on A Hero's Death (2020), topped the UK and Irish charts with Skinty Fia (2022), and broke through to a far bigger audience with the platinum-selling Romance (2024).
Their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, produced by James Ford, pushes further still — away from the guitar language of their early records and into their most seductive, atmospheric songs to date, led by the single Marianne.
This arena show is part of their biggest Australian headline run so far, alongside their return for the 2027 Laneway Festival. Fellow Dublin post-punk band Gurriers open.
Show Time: 8:00 PM
