Where Is The Green Sheep?
About This Event
Mem Fox and Judy Horacek's beloved picture book comes to life at the Dunstan Playhouse — a gentle 45-minute show of puppetry and animation for young children and their families.
For more than two decades, Where Is the Green Sheep? by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek has been a bedtime favourite in Australian homes. Now Monkey Baa Theatre Company turns it into an immersive stage show for the youngest theatregoers.
Children meet Blue Sheep, who loves blue flowers, and Red Sheep, who loves to cartwheel; Bath Sheep with all the bubbles and Bed Sheep who loves to bounce — and then join three farmers on a hunt for the elusive Green Sheep. The production blends puppetry and animation, and was co-created with students from Bankstown West Public School, whose voices narrate the story.
